A lovely antique rare octagonal (8 sides) shaped Chinese porcelain teapot with a central decoration of eight panels with Ladies sitting at a Table Overthinking and Ladies Acting in Landscapes and Peonies and morning glory and many leafs executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. In the border a classical decoration of geometrical and floral patterns. An elegantly shaped ear and sturdy potted sprout.
Handmade in Imperial China during the Qing Dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1690-1700). Guaranteed original and of the stated period.

Length: 15,5 centimeter

Condition: The teapot is in good condition, some remnants of gilding visible and a small old restoration, the lid is in perfect condition except for some glaze fritting. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
