Description from the seller
French retro tank ring from the 1940s–1950s.
This ring is made of silver with a solid top in 18-karat yellow gold. The design is characteristic of the tank style from the post-war period, featuring a broad, powerful form and a clear geometric structure.
The top is adorned with five elongated baguette-cut red stones that test as rubies. Given the color and clarity, they are very likely synthetic rubies. On the side, four colorless stones are set, which are rock crystal (quartz).
One of the rock crystals shows a clear chip where part of the stone is missing. This damage is visible upon inspection but is hardly noticeable when worn.
The ring is French certified with the combined double certification mark.
On the left, the pig's head for silver.
On the right, the eagle head for 18 karat gold.
Additionally, a maker's mark is present, but it is too worn down to be identifiable.
