Rodrigo Alonso Cuesta (Burgos, 1982). Lives in Spain.
This graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca and Audiovisual Communication from the University of Burgos has had an outstanding academic education, complemented by experiences abroad thanks to Erasmus scholarships he completed in Portugal and Belgium.
Her artistic work focuses primarily on oil painting, acrylic, watercolor, digital art, and paper, where she creates paintings, drawings, and collages. Her style is characterized by a rich, vivid, and expressive color range, as well as a visual compositional style with dynamic and unusual perspectives, influenced by her passion for analog photography.
The themes he addresses in his works are "landscapes, still lifes, and portraits... that's all," in the words of David Hockney. Although his work is based on figurative representation, he has recently begun to experiment with geometric abstraction, always using large and broad support formats.
