This legendary and historically significant recording of Richard Wagner's opera Parsifal was captured live during the very first post-war Bayreuth Festival performances in 1951, conducted by the iconic Hans Knappertsbusch. It was the first complete recording of the opera on LP and is widely regarded as one of the greatest performances ever committed to record.
