The work discusses the new crater, gas emissions, and minerals erupted in the lavas. Considerations on the current resting phase. A rare collectible for the New Year 1956, curated by Baron and Baroness Carelli, about the eruption of Vesuvius in 1631. The work provides a chronicle of the three days around December 16, 1631, and discusses the eruption of Vesuvius and the famous procession of San Gennaro, which legend says stopped the lava. It includes a painting by Domenico Gargiulo, known as Micco Spadaro, depicting the procession departing from the Duomo, led by Cardinal Francesco Boncompagni, carrying the bust and ampoules of San Gennaro's blood. At the end, there is a rare poem by Giovan Battista Bergazzano in Neapolitan dialect: Bacco arraggiato co Vorcano. Limited edition, only 300 copies. Original binding in modern cardboard.
