208 p. and 240 p. Frontispiece of Abelard in Volume 1 and of Heloise in Volume 2
Full calf binding from the period. Wear, rounded corners, slightly rubbed headbands. Crackling on the lower edge of the second volume.
Two smooth, richly decorated, and gilded. Triple gold border framing the dishes.
Very cool interior
The Love Letters and Epistles of Héloise and Abelard, Freely Translated into Verse and Prose by MM. de Bussy Rabutin, de Beauchamps, Pope, Colardeau, Dorat, Feutry, Mercier, Dourxigne, Saurin.
