Description from the seller
Advertising manifesto dedicated to the famous illusionist Harry Kellar, depicting one of his most renowned acts: 'The Golden Butterfly – The most daring illusion of the age.'
The composition features a female figure dancing with large butterfly wings, richly decorated, surrounded by floral and ornamental elements typical of late 19th-century Art Nouveau aesthetics.
The graphic layout, typographic characters, and color palette evoke the great theatrical and magic posters created between the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Measurements: 62 x 44 cm
