Set of 5 artistic objects in the Italian style of Deruta ceramics (PG) by Gialletti G. P., made in Italy, handcrafted and painted by hand with gold leaf.
The lot includes:
1 jug with handle, dimensions: H. 21 cm x 9 cm in diameter, weight 340 g.
1 glass, dimensions: H. 12 cm x 8 cm in diameter, weight 220 g.
1 cup with handle, dimensions: H. 17.5 cm x 8 cm in diameter, weight 230 g.
1 scoop with handle, dimensions: height 12.5 cm x diameter 7.5 cm, weight 200 g.
1. Wall plaque or table ashtray in a triangular shape, which can be hung via the two holes on the back or placed on a piece of furniture with or without a stand (not included). Dimensions: height 15 cm x width 16 cm x depth 3 cm. Weight 200 g.
All five objects have been crafted through surface engraving and hand-painted with 24 KT gold leaf to evoke the beautiful Byzantine mosaics; the interior features a glossy enamel finish.
The decorations appear rich in light and precious contrasts thanks to the brilliance of gold and its colors.
Like all Gialletti creations, these are also unique pieces, entirely handcrafted.
Period 1960 - 1970.
The objects, considering their age, are in excellent condition.
