Allen Iverson, born on June 7, 1975, in Hampton, Virginia, is regarded as one of the most influential and talented players in NBA history. Despite his relatively small stature of 1.83 meters, he shaped the game as an explosive and fearless guard, impressing with extraordinary speed and fighting spirit.

During his career, especially with the Philadelphia 76ers, Iverson was selected as an NBA All-Star eleven times and won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) title in 2001. He led the league four times as the top scorer (1999, 2001, 2002, 2005) and was named to the All-NBA First Team three times. In the 2000/01 season, he led the 76ers to the NBA Finals, where they faced the formidable Los Angeles Lakers. His 48-point game in the first game of that series remains particularly legendary. In 1997, Iverson was also awarded Rookie of the Year.

In addition to his sporting achievements, he also shaped the league's culture—with his individual style, authenticity, and connection to hip-hop culture. In 2016, Allen Iverson was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
