XTC presents Mc KGB Boxed, a plastic and wood framed cornucopia sculpture measuring 27 cm by 27 cm with 6 cm depth, edition 8/20, signed, dated 2025, France.
Description from the seller
White McKGB cone in a box frame for wall display by XTC.
Prank involving a McDonald's and KFC cone.
It is not a McDonald's paper cone made of cardboard; it was created from plastic materials and painted by XTC.
The frame is part of the artwork. It is supplied with a plastic glass, and you can display it with or without, as shown in the photos. Wall hanging or placed on a surface.
Signed and numbered on the back out of 20, Certificate (COA) provided.
The sample sent is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar.
Careful packaging and tracking
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration turned into a passion, which was destined to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the appropriation of contemporary mass-produced goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular culture (such as McDonald's, Malabar, Chupa), which clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or Caviar) and street art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration from, among others, Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and from advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections are considered an integral part of the work.
