Thirteen heavily peated single malt Scotch whiskies comprise the whic-exclusive Mad Malts series. Selected in collaboration with Signatory Vintage, these whiskies offer a smoky and delightful experience. Mad Malts whisper in the glass, playing with smoke and fire, challenging even seasoned whisky connoisseurs.
Aroma: Intense smoke with a distinct sweetness from tropical fruits. Pineapple, papaya, and coconut give way to melon, baked banana with honey and beeswax. There's also a touch of milk chocolate, cheesecake with lemon zest, and vanilla custard with caramel sauce.
Taste: Incredibly sweet and creamy, oily smoke blends with salted caramel ice cream, honey, ripe pineapple, and lemon drops. Walnuts, bittersweet chocolate, subtle wood spice, and a hint of ash develop in the background.
Finish: Lingering on the palate with ashy smoke and smooth sweetness. Behind dark chocolate and a crème brûlée with a thick layer of caramel, various herbs and spices emerge.
