Description from the seller

Jimi Hendrix, San Francisco, 1968.

The photo is in excellent condition.

In 1967, Baron Wolman was the chief photographer and co-founder of a magazine that would report in words and images on the times that were full of change: Rolling Stone. Most of the photos published in the magazine's first three issues were taken by him. He photographed Jimi Hendrix, Mick Jagger, Janis Joplin, Frank Zappa, The Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Who — an almost complete list of the usual suspects of the sixties. Wolman's style of working set the tone for the approach that Rolling Stone would follow in later years, after Annie Leibovitz succeeded him.
