Description from the seller
The small spoon leans on the large one, not just once, but overall. A connected system is formed, a closed collective. The innermost circle is still small, but it forms the foundation for the circles that emerge from it, growing larger and also symbolically 'growing.' The spoon circles provide not only support to themselves but also stability to the entire construct; the outermost circle has the greatest reach but protects the inner one. It’s a synonym for a family across multiple generations. The lighting moods change—warm, cold—but the basic structure remains unchanged. It is both a process of development and maturation.
Acrylic, putty, gold paint, gold powder, plastic forks on canvas.
The work was last exhibited at art3f Paris from September 26 to 28, 2025.
