Antique bombé cylinder desk, veneered in mahogany with flame grain, circa 1760–1780, in Louis XVI style; features an interior full of drawers and a working original lock with key.

Transitional bombe cylinder bureau, beautifully veneered with herringbone mahogany.
The interior is full of drawers, with a jalousie door featuring hidden drawers. It also has a working original lock with a key.
Fire-gilded, originally cast brass pull handle.
Ornament also originally on shorts.
Netherlands circa 1760 - 1780
Afm:
H = 112 cm.
B = 113-121 cm. (Minimum - maximum measurements)
D= 54-58 cm. (73 cm. with extended leaf)
Recently thoroughly checked for loose parts of the construction and veneer.
Woodworm control; No active woodworm detected on 12/16/2025.
