Very rare 14K Rose Solid GOLD Quarter Repeater Chronograph Savonette Case Pocket Watch from ca. 1896:
This massive pocket watch with diameter of 60 mm is in a very good condition considering its age.
Movement: quarter repetition movement, movement protected by additional crystal
A quarter repeater is a mechanical watch that chimes the number of hours and the number of quarter-hours on request. It uses two different tones: a low tone for hours and a higher tone for the quarter-hours. For example, at 2:45, it would chime two low tones for the hours and three high tones for the three quarter-hours.

Dial: white, enamel, black Arabic numerals
Hands: gold-plated, central second blued steel
Special features: chronograph, minute repeater
Crystal: Acrylic
White dial with black Arabic numerals is in original condition. There are no scratches on it.
Case of the watch is made of 14K solid gold. It has no major traces of use. Gold hallmarks are visible on each inner side of the case.
