Fernando Samperio Manso (1928), a painter from Vizcaya, born in Portugalete on October 14, 1928.

When he was six years old, he moved with his family to Bilbao. He studied as a draftsman at the School of Architecture in Barcelona. His interest in painting was introduced by his father, who was a great enthusiast. He began by frequenting the circle of painters such as José Luis Pérez Díez, Agustín Ibarrola, Ismael Fidalgo, and others.

He has participated in numerous exhibitions, both solo and group, in Bilbao, Gasteiz, Donostia, Madrid, Bermeo, Córdoba, and various towns across the Bizkaia region. He has received several awards, and among his works are: Akelarre, Bodegón, Campesinos, La ría de Bilbo, Baztán, Figuras, etc. His work is scattered across various private collections.
