Object Features
Upper basin/cup: Made of high-quality transparent crystal, it features an elegantly curved shape with beveled edges.
The surface is adorned with intricate diamond-point and fan-shaped grinding, typical of the most sought-after craftsmanship of the 19th century, which enhances the refraction of light, creating a bright and luxurious effect.

Support Structure
The tub rests on a barrel and a base that represent a masterpiece of material balance.

Golden Metal
Richly chiseled, it features a cup of stylized leaves at the base of the vessel and lion claws or scroll feet supporting the marble base, distinctive elements of the Empire Style (and its subsequent revivals, such as the Victorian Revival).
