Ber Stern (1930-2013) was a fashion photographer, specializing in portraits of stars. He is worldwide known for The Last Sitting, a collection of 2,500 photographs of Marilyn Monroe taken over three days, six weeks before her death, in 1962, for Vogue magazine. Stern ultimately published his Marilyn Monroe shots, 'The Complete Last Sitting,' in 1992.
