It probably dates from the Showa period. It has a round placket with Marunichigaitakanoha mon 丸に違い鷹羽紋 (a hawk feather crest).
It is thought to have been sold as part of a set of armor, but the details are unknown.
It has some dirt, scratches, tears, fading, stains, damage and holes, but is in good condition for an antique item.
A great decorative piece.
