Two-column Gothic type, still printed entirely in the style of an incunable.
Two beautiful figurative title borders in woodcut. A large woodcut print mark on the title for the Repertory. Additionally, ten small woodcuts with images of saints arranged in two rows below the title of Volume I, and a small woodcut print mark at the end of Part IV.
Sheet: 28.5 x 20 cm; Text: 23.5 x 15 cm.
bindings
Two original, uniform late Gothic pigskin bindings.
Pigskin leather over heavy wooden covers. The covers feature rectangular and diagonal streak iron lines. Outer borders with flower and lily diamond stamps, the central panels with large flower stamps. Likely a southern German workshop (Swabia?). Beveled edges. Four intact clasps. Four genuine bands. Extensive grip register. Very good, authentic condition. Book blocks and binding are firm and stable.
Cover somewhat stained, rubbed, and with some wormholes. The latch has been authentically renewed.
Folio: 31.5 x 21.5 cm. Total thickness of the volumes: 18 cm.
state
Very good condition. Clean and wide-margin specimen. Strong impression on firm handmade paper. Occasional minor worm traces. Slightly stained in places, edges only lightly water-stained in some areas. No other defects, tears, or damages.

Provenance
In 1590 – Ambrosius Mantz, Ehingen – His handwritten ownership entry on the titles. Among other things, also the deletion of the entry 'Marcus Mantz,' evidently his father. Mantz came from Ehingen and was a teacher, pastor, and book author. He studied, among other places, in Ingolstadt. Between 1595 and 1597, he is found as a pastor at the St. Martin city parish church in Illertissen.
Around 1850 - Convicts Library Tübingen - Their stamp on the title pages
From 1960 - Library of Hans Fürstenberg (1890–1982) - His ex libris 'Ex Musaeo Hans Fürstenberg', on the inner cover of Volume I.
