Original edition of this collection of literary portraits compiled by Robert Brasillach (1909-1945), published in 1935. Enriched with the author's inscription: [to Lucien Corpechot, in respectful homage].

In very good condition. Creased spine and small tear to the headbands. Discreet pinpricks on the covers. Interior fresh and clean.
Lucien Corpechot (1871-1946) was editor-in-chief at Le Figaro, Le Gaulois, and L’Écho de Paris. Connected to Maurice Barrès, Paul Bourget, Charles Maurras, and a friend of Gyp, whose salon he frequented, he contributed to numerous newspapers under his own name or under the pseudonym 'Curtius'.
