Description from the seller
Oil painting. Unique artwork. Canvas made by hand, with oil and acrylic paint. Delivered on a frame. 60x80 cm.
In this nighttime scene bathed in artificial lights, Le Yack emphasizes the tension between inside and outside, movement and waiting. Behind the large glass window of a modernist American diner, the silhouettes seem frozen in muted conversations, almost suspended outside of time. Outside, a man alone, wearing a dark coat and with his gaze lowered, embodies a silent solitude, accentuated by the damp reflection on the ground and the almost surreal calm of the street.
The composition evokes a timeless, cinematic America, where each character seems more absorbed in their thoughts than in others. The parked car, subtle neon lights, and cool color palette reinforce this sense of emotional distance and an unfinished story.
Between observation and introspection, this work invites the viewer to imagine what precedes or follows this scene, transforming a mundane moment into a fragment of poetic narration.
The artist Le Yack's style is a bold blend of pop art, street art, and classical and modern painting. He uses his graphic tablet to create unique visual worlds by merging various digital resources and exploring a range of artistic techniques (Photoshop software, drawing on Procreate, and different royalty-free image resources and AI).
Le Yack, an emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he attended the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is an art director in publishing and web. Instagram @leyack45. His work is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, and the United States.
Inspired by classical and modern painting, Le Yack brings a contemporary perspective to his creations by incorporating iconic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterized by vivid colors, dynamic shapes, and expressive compositions.
The artist also explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his works are reproduced in series on stretched canvases, thus creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other works are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection.
Le Yack's style reflects a fusion of traditional art and the endless possibilities offered by digital technology. His innovative approach and skillful use of digital resources allow him to create original works that captivate the eye and invite reflection.
