Wooden Christmas Pyramid – Nativity Scene
Made in the GDR (DDR / East Germany)
High-quality traditional wooden Christmas pyramid (Weihnachtspyramide) depicting the Nativity of Christ, including the Three Wise Men, shepherds, animals and palm trees. The pyramid features a multi-tier construction and a top propeller mechanism, which rotates by the heat of candles, as in classic Central European Christmas decorations.
The piece is unused, preserved in excellent condition, and comes with its original cardboard box. All original figures and components are present.
An original label “Hergestellt in der DDR” is still attached to the base, confirming production in the German Democratic Republic (East Germany).
