Description from the seller

Oil painting. Unique piece. Handmade canvas, with oil and acrylic paint. Delivered on a stretcher. 60x60 cm.

In this composition with bold and confident colors, Le Yack depicts a solitary musician, frozen in a moment suspended between elegance and introspection. Sitting at a pink table, a glass of wine beside him, the trumpeter plays facing an almost abstract horizon, divided between an intense blue and a bright yellow.
The strong, almost graphic chromatic contrast interacts with a calm and focused posture, evoking both the world of jazz and that of a certain contemporary solitude. The pink glasses, a pop and quirky detail, introduce an ironic distance while reinforcing the visual identity of the scene.
This work oscillates between realism and stylization, between homage to iconic figures of music and a contemporary reinterpretation of portraiture codes. The silence of the image seems almost audible, allowing the viewer the freedom to imagine the melody played, the setting, or the intimate story of this character.

The artist Le Yack's style is a bold blend of pop art, street art, and classical and modern painting. He uses his graphic tablet to create unique visual worlds by merging various digital resources and exploring a range of artistic techniques (Photoshop software, drawing on Procreate, and different royalty-free image resources and AI).

During his studies, he attended the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is an art director in publishing and web. Instagram @leyack45. His work is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, and the United States.

Inspired by classical and modern painting, Le Yack brings a contemporary perspective to his creations by incorporating iconic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterized by vivid colors, dynamic shapes, and expressive compositions.

The artist also explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his works are reproduced in series on stretched canvases, thus creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other works are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection.

Le Yack's style reflects a fusion of traditional art and the endless possibilities offered by digital technology. His innovative approach and skillful use of digital resources allow him to create original works that captivate the eye and invite reflection.
