Hanhart
Hanhart specializes in the manufacturing of stopwatches and high-quality chronographs.
In 1938, Hanhart developed his first impression chronograph, Caliber 40.
Production of the two-pusher model caliber 41 began in 1940.
Hanhart watches were often special service watches for military pilots.
In 1940, the Hanhart Flieger-Chronograph with the in-house Flyback caliber 41 (=timing switch) was also introduced — see Watch Cosmos - Hanhart Watch History Part II.
Rare collector's watch by Hanhart. Very good condition. The pilot chronograph.
Manufacturing year of the watch: around 1940 - Germany.
Black dial. Two auxiliary dials. Small seconds at nine. 30-minute counter at three. Spade-shaped hands with luminous material. White chronograph hand. Arabic luminous numerals with an outer white seconds and minutes track, featuring inner white Arabic 5-minute markers. Marked below the twelve in white: Hanhart 17 jewels. Original, beautiful, worn condition.
Original grooved bezel with a fine line
Lower Chrongrah handle with worn red or replaced by an original push button similar to the first push button.
Hanhart 41 movement. Very beautiful original condition of the movement - fine movement construction. Shock protected and with screw balance - number 1675 stamped further into the movement, Germany. This movement is an absolute classic and rare.
Work and chronograph with flyback function are operational. Maintenance is recommended.
Screwed case back
The watch is in its original condition and has slight signs of use, but considering its age and use, it is in very good condition.
The watch comes from a purchase at the renowned and well-known watch auction house Karl-Heinz Cortrie in Hamburg.
Watch size: 40mm without crown, 44mm with crown. Weight: 61.3g.
Offered with a green NATO strap - total length 28cm - width 20mm.
Interesting collector's watch in very good condition. Original dial. Original movement and original case.
