Description from the seller

An antique seven-branched menorah (candle holder).

For the Jewish religious service. This candlestick is designed for thin, long candles and naturally has 7 holders.

The candlestick was the ancient symbol for the Israelites and one of the oldest symbols of Judaism in general. According to some biblical commentators, the menorah symbolizes the burning bush that Moses saw on Mount Sinai.

The menorah has seven arms and should not be confused with the nine-armed candelabrum used during the Hanukkah festival, the Hanukkiah.

The candlestick has never been restored with two newer screws on the underside, which were added because the original ones had decayed.

This item will be very carefully packaged during shipping, including insurance.

Seller's Story

Hello, my husband and I are huge enthusiasts of Vintage & Antique items. We have been collecting them for about 30 years. Through numerous connections in the market both domestically and internationally, we continue to purchase to enrich our collection. We always make a well-considered choice to either keep an item or offer it for sale. Expertise: Vintage and antique lighting, paintings, and vintage/antique toys. Perhaps until we meet!
