Eight loose Hermann albums from the Collectie Hermann, with diverse editions, published 1991–2011, in Dutch, by Dupuis, Glenat, Casterman and Vrije Vlucht, all in Very Fine condition.
Description from the seller
I own up to eight 'loose' albums by Hermann, mostly together with his son Yves H. Five are hardcover, three are softcover. And although I don't see it in the albums, I believe that at least all the hardcovers are first editions.
Not only first editions but all of them are also in top condition. Corners perfectly straight, everything free of stains, tears, folds, and scratches. I mostly bought them in the week of publication. I read them once or twice, then they went into the cabinet where they've patiently waited for decades without sunlight. Unfortunately, the exception is Wild Bill. The keen observer will notice a slightly bent top corner (no biggie, see separate photo). De Bloedbruiloft is marred by a damaged so-called hypesticker. I would peel it off myself, but others find it important: it emphasizes the first edition version.
The parts
1. 1999 Wild Bill is murdered, with a scene by Hermann. Published by Uitgave with an extensive introduction, Uitg Vrije Vlucht.
2003 China. Ill Hermann, scen. Yves H. Uit. Free Flight/Dupuis
2006 Vlad the Spitfire. Illustrated by Hermann, scenario by Yves H., published by Casterman (two other artists worked on parts 2 and 3).
4. The Devil of the Seven Seas. Ill Hermann, scen. Yves H. Uit. Vrije Vlucht/Dupuis
2011 A Night with a Full Moon. Ill. Hermann, scen Yves H. Published by Glenat.
Softcover
1991 Missie Vandisandi Ill en scen. Hermann. Publisher: Dupuis.
1997 Caatinga, illustrated by Hermann, published by Le Lombard.
8. 2000 Blood Wedding, by Hermann, scenarist Jean van Hamme, published by Vrije Vlucht. With (damaged) hypesticker on the cover.
As mentioned: everything in perfect new condition, view the photos and check my reviews. The albums are perfectly packaged and promptly shipped.
