Get your hands on this serviced vintage King Seiko 5626-8000 Hi-Beat from 1974. Automatic high-beat movement, English/Kanji day date, silvery sunburst dial. Guaranteed vintage Seiko in excellent condition.
Model History:
The Seiko King Seiko line represents one of the brand’s most important high-grade mechanical watch families of the late 1960s and 1970s, positioned just below Grand Seiko and produced with the same design philosophy: precision, legibility, and restrained elegance. The reference 5626-8000 belongs to the later generation of King Seiko models and is powered by the high-beat 56-series movement, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour.
This reference features the classic sharp-edged case design characteristic of King Seiko, combined with a clean, silvery white sunburst dial and applied indices. The bilingual English/Kanji day display adds further collector appeal and clearly reflects its domestic Japanese market origins. Today, well-preserved and properly serviced examples of the 5626-8000 are increasingly sought after by collectors who value Seiko’s high-beat era and understated vintage dress watches.
