Description from the seller
This Rado Musketeer is an automatic wristwatch from the late 1960s to early 1970s, a period when Rado was known for distinctive case designs and robust Swiss automatic movements. The Musketeer line is characterized by its bold fluted bezel and functional day-date display, giving the watch a strong and recognizable presence.
The watch features a silver dial with a horizontal textured pattern, applied hour markers, and a day-date window at 3 o’clock. The iconic rotating anchor logo at 12 o’clock is functioning correctly, a hallmark feature of vintage Rado automatic models. Age-related marks and surface wear are present on the dial, consistent with long-term use, and contribute to its authentic vintage character.
The watch is powered by an automatic movement. Quick date and day adjustment functions operate correctly: with the crown pulled to the first position, rotating the crown allows independent adjustment of the day and date in both directions. Time setting is performed by pulling the crown further, and the hands move smoothly.
The stainless steel case is fitted with a fluted bezel and measures approximately 36.0 mm in diameter, with a lug width of 22 mm. The case back features the original Rado medallion, and the crown is original and signed. A new leather strap is fitted.
Running at the time of listing.
As a vintage watch, long-term accuracy, stable operation, and water resistance cannot be guaranteed.
The watch will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking for safe delivery.
