Description from the seller
This OLYMPUS Pen was introduced in 1959. It was designed by Maitani Yoshihisa and was the first half-frame camera produced in Japan. It was one of the smallest cameras to use 35mm film in standard 135 cassettes. The name comes from the idea that the camera was as portable as a pen. The concept was quickly copied by many other Japanese manufacturers.
Specifications:
- Objective: D. Zuiko, 28mm F/3.5, 4 elements in 3 groups
- Film sensitivity settings: 10-200 ISO, manual adjustment.
Film rolling: thumb wrap with a single movement at the back of the camera.
Weight: 335g
- Half-frame camera: A film roll with 36 frames becomes 72 half-frames.
Red warning signal for underexposure.
The item in this auction is sold "as is." If an item has not been tested, the risk of it not working lies with the buyer. This means that no claims regarding the item's functionality can be made after the sale, unless it does not match the description below.
The cameras and lenses I offer here are collectibles. I have never used them for filming, so I list the cameras as 'not tested'.
Functions such as shutter, rangefinder, light meter, mirror, etc., are checked for operation (not accuracy), and lenses are visually assessed.
From the description and test results, it can often be inferred whether the object could function properly, but I cannot guarantee this.
See photos to get a good idea of the condition of the camera, a genuine collector's Olympus, which is part of the description. You get what you see!
Shipping with DPD, GLS, or DHL.
It is well packaged and shipped quickly. We are not responsible for additional taxes levied outside the EU or for returns if you are not at home.
Good luck with the auction and success!
