The ST9500 was designed for the BeoCenter 9500 and other variants of this unit such as the BeoCenter 8500, 9000 and 9300. It provided a very stylish way to display your BeoCenter, and sold in large numbers even though it was terribly expensive!


The base is made of a diagonal chrome plated cross shape, with a black coated hardboard plate covering it. Two hollow tubes (for the wires) support a metal plinth, upon which sits a rectangular piece of smoked glass.

The smoked glass is attached to the plinth by two double-sided adhesive foam strips, but over time these dry out and the glass panel can become detached. However, careful removal and re-appliance of similar strips will see it as good as new again!

These stands are becoming very collectible now.
