Andy Warhol (after) x The Skateroom - Cow

Andy Warhol's Cow Wallpaper was the first in a series of wallpaper designs he created from the sixties to the eighties. According to Warhol, the inspiration for the work came from art dealer Ivan Karp, who encouraged the artist to explore the pastoral image of a cow. The wallpaper, painted in bright pink and yellow, quickly appeared in Warhol's exhibitions and was pasted all over the gallery walls.

Skateboard decks are intended for decorative purposes.
