Lunéville porcelain fish service in off-white or eggshell color, decorated with a central motif of freshwater fish in their natural habitat—aquatic plants and small crustaceans (pike, perch, salmon, carp, roach, etc.). The edges are textured with a slightly raised, undulating pattern, with a delicate gold trim around the rim.
Each piece bears the hallmark of the Manufacture of Lunéville France - KG for Keller and Guérin.
The Lunéville Manufacture located in Lorraine has been in operation since the 18th century, specializing in the production of faience pieces. Recognized as a Royal Manufacture, it is known for its fine decoration and firing at Petit Feu. In 1892, the St Clément and Lunéville Manufactures were reunified. Over the years, they have successfully transmitted their ancestral knowledge and have specialized in the Art of the Table.
A large oblong-shaped serving platter decorated with a pike and a perch in their natural habitat - length 59 cm - width 23.5 cm - depth 4 cm.
