Original work by the Dutch-Danish artist Borgen Lindhardt of the kimono girl, this time with a brush in hand and a small figure in the background.
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Maastricht (1996). Uses Borgen Lindhardt as a signature name and is known for her 'kimono series,' inspired by the work of G.H. Breitner. Creates oil paintings where old masters are combined with personal elements (cat, painting supplies, and fantasy figures) to form a new spectacle. Her style is characterized by a visible thick brushstroke. She shifts from detailed, imaginative, and playful work to fluid, sketch-like paintings.
Comes directly from the artist.
It is framed in a beautiful gold-colored and black frame, with minor signs of use (mainly on the back).
Will be well packed and shipped with track & trace.
The painting is protected with a layer of retouching varnish. After drying time (about a year), please apply a final varnish yourself to preserve the gloss and color.
