Ferrari GMT Automatic – Limited Series, 349/700, with automatic movement, 44 mm stainless steel case, black dial, black rubber strap, for men, reference F6656 BB 118724, produced in 2000–2010, includes original box, papers and warranty, in very good condition with minor wear.
Description from the seller
I am offering for sale this Ferrari GMT Automatic, an exclusive piece belonging to the prestigious collaboration between Ferrari and Officine Panerai, launched only between 2006 and 2010. It is a limited model of 700 units, and this particular unit corresponds to the numbered series 349/700, making it a highly collectible item within the line.
Aesthetic Condition – Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case maintains an imposing presence, with its characteristic Panerai design featuring robust lines and a brushed bezel. It shows minor surface marks typical of moderate use, with no dents or structural alterations, thus preserving the watch's integrity and original character.
The sapphire crystal remains in excellent condition, free of perceptible scratches, ensuring impeccable visibility of the dial.
Dial and Hands
The textured black dial in 'Clous de Paris' style is in outstanding condition, with no wear, discoloration, or imperfections. The Arabic indices and hands retain their shine and sharpness, while the GMT hand preserves its iconic red triangle, adding an elegant and sporty contrast.
The date window, with an integrated magnifying glass, works correctly and displays a clear focus.
Crown and Rear Cover
The crown signed with the Cavallino Rampante is in very good condition, with the engraving perfectly defined.
The rear cover features the iconic Ferrari horse engraved on a grid-patterned surface. It maintains a solid aesthetic presence, although it shows signs of superficial wear, typical of normal contact, without affecting its readability or original hermetic seal.
Strap and clasp
The original black rubber strap, signed 'Engineered by Officine Panerai – Italy,' is in very good condition, flexible, with no cracks or hardening. The stainless steel deployant clasp, also signed Ferrari, shows slight but even wear, maintaining its functionality and premium aesthetic.
Performance and Operation
From a visual and functional standpoint, the watch performs correctly. The GMT function, the small second hand, and the date operate properly. However, as a collectible piece of over a decade, a preventive service is recommended if the buyer seeks absolute precision to Swiss standards.
Documentation and Presentation
The watch is delivered with its original Ferrari box in red lacquer and its warranty/instruction manual, elements that significantly enhance its value and appeal for collectors.
Conclusion
This Ferrari GMT Automatic by Officine Panerai is in a very well-maintained overall condition, showing only signs of controlled use, proper functioning, and all its key aesthetic elements preserved. Its combination of exclusivity — limited edition, historic collaboration, and Panerai design — positions it as a highly interesting piece for watch collectors and Ferrari enthusiasts.
