about the book, suggesting the passage of time.
In the foreground, some glass marbles are visible, referencing metaphysics.
In this work, Ninni Pagano wanted to symbolize the initiation journey of the soul from the material to the divine, a bridge between macrocosm (Universe) and microcosm (man), representing the gradual knowledge of the various planes of existence. The ladder is the means to
The evolution of the soul, which detaches from the plane.
ground for reaching higher levels of
Consciousness and perfection, that which is called Ascension. The work is part of the 'watches' series.
Watch Series
In this series called 'Clocks,' the artist explores the different meanings of time, including its irreversible nature and the linear or cyclical conception. For the linear conception, time is a hand that advances, with a beginning and an end, a sense tied to history and salvation. In contrast, the cyclical conception perceives time as a cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. Ninni Pagano views time as a precious resource for personal growth, transformation, and discovering one's potential, aiming to transcend the perception of linear time to live in the present and connect with the eternal.
