Description from the seller

Unique artwork. Canvas created by hand, oil and acrylic painting. Delivered on a frame. 80x80 cm.

In the intimate hush of a nighttime dinner, two figures face each other without truly connecting. An elegant woman, her gaze fixed and restrained, holds her cup as a point of anchorage. Opposite her, a man with a hat, cigarette in hand, seems suspended in a moment of speech or silence.
The scene unfolds in a subtle play of reflections, where the glass becomes an inner mirror: the city sleeps, but thoughts remain awake. Artificial light shapes the bodies, accentuating emotional distance and reinforcing the dramatic tension of the moment.
Inspired by the aesthetics of Edward Hopper, this work revisits the codes of American realism to inject a contemporary narrative. The dialogue seems to take place both in the space and in the mind of the viewer, invited to imagine the before and after of this frozen encounter.

A painting imbued with solitude, elegance, and unspoken feelings, where silence becomes the true subject.
The artist Le Yack's style is a bold blend of pop art, street art, and classical and modern painting. He uses his graphic tablet to create unique visual worlds by merging various digital resources and exploring a range of artistic techniques (Photoshop software, drawing on Procreate, and different royalty-free image resources and AI).

Le Yack, an emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he attended the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is an art director in publishing and web. Instagram @leyack45. His work is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, and the United States.

Inspired by classical and modern painting, Le Yack brings a contemporary perspective to his creations by incorporating iconic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterized by vivid colors, dynamic shapes, and expressive compositions.

The artist also explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his works are reproduced in series on stretched canvases, thus creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other works are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection.

Le Yack's style reflects a fusion of traditional art and the endless possibilities offered by digital technology. His innovative approach and skillful use of digital resources allow him to create original works that captivate the eye and invite reflection.
