Description from the seller

Unique artwork. Handmade canvas, oil and acrylic paint. Delivered on a frame. 60x60 cm.

Sitting alone in a nearly empty diner, a woman gazes at the night through the window. Her face, illuminated by a warm and artificial light, contrasts with the deep blue of the sleeping city. In front of her, two cups of coffee: one still full, the other already consumed, suggesting waiting, absence, or a meeting that perhaps never took place.
The composition plays on oppositions: interior and exterior, warmth and coldness, presence and solitude. The urban decor, silent and distant, becomes an extension of the character's inner state. The light suspended above the table acts like an intimate theater, freezing the moment in an almost unreal atmosphere.
Following in the footsteps of Edward Hopper, Le Yack explores here the poetry of waiting and the unsaid. This work invites the viewer to pause, to feel the weight of passing time, and to project their own story into this suspended moment.

The artist Le Yack's style is a bold blend of pop art, street art, and classical and modern painting. He uses his graphic tablet to create unique visual worlds by merging various digital resources and exploring a range of artistic techniques (Photoshop software, drawing on Procreate, and different royalty-free image resources and AI).

Le Yack, an emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he attended the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is an art director in publishing and web. Instagram @leyack45. His work is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, and the United States.

Inspired by classical and modern painting, Le Yack brings a contemporary perspective to his creations by incorporating iconic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterized by vivid colors, dynamic shapes, and expressive compositions.

The artist also explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his works are reproduced in series on stretched canvases, thus creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other works are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection.

Le Yack's style reflects a fusion of traditional art and the endless possibilities offered by digital technology. His innovative approach and skillful use of digital resources allow him to create original works that captivate the eye and invite reflection.

Keywords: digital painting, contemporary figurative art, inspiration Edward Hopper, night scene, American diner, solitude, waiting, introspection, artificial light, cinematic atmosphere, silence, narrative realism, city at night, woman alone, melancholy, Yack.
