Description from the seller

Oil painting. Unique piece. Handmade canvas, oil and acrylic paint. Delivered on a frame. 80x80 cm.

Under a full moon that discreetly illuminates the scene, a blue car is stopped in front of a still-open diner. The warm interior light contrasts with the coolness of the night outside, creating a striking contrast between refuge and solitude. Inside, two women sit face to face, absorbed in a silent conversation, while the street remains deserted and still.
The composition is based on a precise balance between suggested movement and actual stillness. The car, a symbol of journey and freedom, appears frozen in time, as if the trip had been suspended to make room for a moment of intimacy or reflection. The moon, the trees, and the luminous facade contribute to this suspended, almost unreal atmosphere.
The work is rooted in a neo-realist and cinematographic aesthetic, inspired by references to the American popular imaginary of the mid-20th century. The Yack develops a sensitive and narrative pastiche, where visual archetypes become supports for projection of collective memory and the viewer's emotion.
A simple scene in appearance, but charged with silence, waiting, and possible stories.

The artist Le Yack's style is a bold blend of pop art, street art, and classical and modern painting. He uses his graphic tablet to create unique visual worlds by merging various digital resources and exploring a range of artistic techniques (Photoshop software, drawing on Procreate, and different royalty-free image resources and AI).

Le Yack, an emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he attended the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is an art director in publishing and web. Instagram @leyack45. His work is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, and the United States.

Inspired by classical and modern painting, Le Yack brings a contemporary perspective to his creations by incorporating iconic elements of pop and urban culture. His works are characterized by vivid colors, dynamic shapes, and expressive compositions.

The artist also explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his works are reproduced in series on stretched canvases, thus creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other works are created as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection.

Le Yack's style reflects a fusion of traditional art and the endless possibilities offered by digital technology. His innovative approach and skillful use of digital resources allow him to create original works that captivate the eye and invite reflection.
