Vintage sports watch SPHINX with presence and character, in the classic 'tool watch' style. It stands out with a compressor-type case with two crowns, a rotating internal bezel, and a 24-hour scale (GMT-style) — a set highly sought after by collectors of this type of piece.
The dial is signed SPHINX, with excellent legibility and typical details of the period, including the indications Shockproof / Waterproof / Antimagnetic. The case back features engraving of a maritime motif and inscriptions SPHINX / WATERPROOF / STAINLESS STEEL BACK.
Note for collectors: aesthetics and concept are very similar to the well-known Sicura 'Dual Crown' models (same case and internal bezel design), but this example is signed SPHINX.
