Description from the seller
Title: “A Moment for Yourself”
The sculpture depicts a figure immersed in absolute relaxation — comfortably nestled inside a large cup, as if it were the most delightful lounge imaginable. The gently elongated silhouette, with hands resting casually behind the head, radiates calm and carefree ease.
The piece tells a story of small rituals — of taking a break, of the aroma of coffee that allows one to momentarily detach from everyday life. It is a subtle reminder that sometimes the simplest pleasures bring the greatest sense of peace and joy.
Iwona Krajnik - born 1975. Sculptor, teacher and therapist. Graduated Pedagogical University in Warsaw
"I make bronze sculptures
in lost - wax technique.
I play with form and the world,
often seen by others as a fairy tale.
This is my free interpretation of reality".
"My works are made of metal and concrete. I am a happy person and I hope it is visible in my works. I draw inspiration from the surrounding world, I look for what is beautiful, cheerful, emanating peace and warmth. My imagination also suggests numerous fairy-tale motifs "There is no aggression or resignation in my works, but there is a lot of warmth, joy and a bit of nostalgia."
