My paintings often speak about different themes, mostly based on personal experiences, such as personal relationships, adapting to new places where I live, mythomania, the physical and material condition of human beings, or the linguistic differences between cultures. They always start from figurative reference images but without aiming for realism, with the outline line being a fundamental part of the process. These reference images are both my own and others', collected over a long process of
