Copper plate made in France in the second half of the 20th century.

This repoussé copper plate is a piece of decorative goldsmithing from the mid-20th century. It features a relief tray with a deer design set in a natural environment. Made of copper with a warm patina, it stands out for its beaded edge and its stamping technique typical of European rustic decoration, common in post-war furniture.

The central motif depicts a male deer with branched antlers in an alpine scene with fir trees and mountains. The animal figure stands out from the background using the technique of high relief, adding depth to the polished surface.
