The artist Lino Cappelletti's style presents a perfect fusion of realism and a delicate impressionistic rendering of sensitive data. In fact, on one hand, the artist proceeds with a precise description of the view in all its details, with a strong sense of reality and everyday life of a simple experience. On the other hand, his refined painting technique allows him to transfer a sense of immediacy onto the work, thanks to a quick brushstroke charged with atmospheric vibrations. Light thus reflects on the objects, but without interfering with the detailed depiction of reality. The entire view is therefore characterized by a clear brightness that contrasts with the play of shadows. The use of a palette with soft and delicate colors also serves this purpose.
Lino Cappelletti (1933-1996) is distinguished by his use of a very simple and direct style that gives life to a conception of artistic creation that is genuinely realistic. In his work, sensory data are not idealized but are presented exactly as they are in reality. For this reason, his figurative language starts from true reproduction but is characterized by a certain impressionistic manner that ensures vibrancy and immediacy in the representation.
