The Libyan crystal formed 26 million years ago due to the impact of a large meteorite or comet on what is now the Libyan desert. It has been known since prehistoric times, used for making tools as well as for crafting jewelry for Tutankhamun.
This specimen from this lot is natural and of good size, ideal for a quality collection of samples, with excellent clarity that can be appreciated in its great transparency, shape with numerous regmaglifos in the form of hollows, and exceptional coloration. Fantastic! Don't miss this opportunity!
