The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay soil in Tuscany. After harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the pressing plant. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Tenute del Barone Toscana matures for another 24 months in French oak barriques.
