Set with 8 Shakespeare's plays by William Shakespeare, published by J Tonson in English, 1st edition, disbound, 722 pages, 16 cm by 10 cm, oldest item from 1734 to youngest from 1735, in good condition.

Rare set of 8 Shakespeare plays, for binding.
Henry VI Sixth, 3 parts, first dated 1735, 2nd and 3rd 1734, without covers, pages are very good, very scarce in this condition. First, 82 pages. Frontispiece and first few pages detached. Very small tear to edge of frontis. Some staining to 76/77 but very clear throughout. Second part, 84 pages. A few turned corners on latter pages but quite clear throughout. Third part, 96 pages.
Othello the Moor of Venice - 1734 - Theobald Edition, without covers, pages are very good, 96 pages. Tear with loss to p83-84 and old annotation to p85.
Antony and Cleopatra, 1734, without covers, pages are very good. 95 pages. Small turned corner at top of frontispiece, small tear to left of frontispiece.
The Life and Death of King Lear, 1734 - Theobald Edition, pages are very good. 91 pages. Frontispiece detached with some staining and loss to top left corner. Intermittent mild staining
The Life of Henry V, 96 pages. Condition generally very good, pages are very good
