Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Oil on canvas reproduction titled Fantasia Arabe, from the 19th century, after Fortuny by B. Brice, Spain, signed and sold with a frame.
Description from the seller
Oil painting on canvas
Reproduction by B. Brice during his classes of the work Fantasia Arab (more precisely 'Poudre Fantasy') by Maestro Mariano Fortuny y Marsal
65cm x 50cm, high-quality stucco frame.
Original paintings by Mariano Fortuny (the 19th-century painter of Arab / Fantasia) are sold at auction rooms at high prices — some inscriptions / lots titled 'Arab Fantasia' have appeared at Christie’s (Fortuny lot, approximate dimensions: ~51×62 cm).
Realistic price probability in direct sales/auctions: approximately €500 to €1,200 (I will make the most probable range around €600–900).
It is a modern copy after Fortuny (decorative value, not a work by Fortuny himself).
A medium-large size (65×50) and an attractive frame increase appeal.
The B. Brice signature adds credibility and higher value to anonymous copies.
This conclusion combines market observations for Fortuny originals (obviously at another level) and recorded sales of works signed B. Brice.
Very good overall condition
