Content
Seven Gothic Tales gathers long stories first published in 1934, set in salons, castles and remote estates across nineteenth-century Europe. Their interlaced narratives, masks and revelations explore identity, desire and fate, with a tone that is by turns ironic, haunting and darkly romantic.

Features
The volume is housed in a blue slipcase, fully wrapped, with an ornate silver device visible on one face. Through the shrink-wrap the spine shows elaborate silver decoration, gilt titling and the Folio device at the foot, suggesting a richly blocked blue cloth binding. All interior details – typography, paper and any illustrations – remain untouched, exactly as issued by the Folio Society.
