Spherical glass paperweight designed and handmade by Udo Edelmann for Glashaus Edelmann, with a diameter of 7.1 cm and height of 7.0 cm, produced in Germany circa 1980–2000, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Spectacular abstract paperweight, designed and handcrafted by Udo Edelmann for Glashaus Edelmann towards the end of the 20th century.
Signed near the stand area: Glashaus Edelmann.
Dimensions (H x D): 7.0 x 7.1 cm, 425 g
Spherical. The paperweight features an abstract shimmering formation reminiscent of a bluish iceberg or a crystal. The formation was modeled from the hollow base and encased in clear, colorless crystal glass. Wonderful play of colors and beautiful optical effects—especially under suitable lighting. A rare collectible by the glass artist from Rheinbach who passed away in 2019!
Very good age-appropriate condition without damage. As with any older glass object that has been used, slight signs of age and use can be found. These mainly include moderate sliding marks on the base.
Please carefully examine the photos in the large view before making your purchase decision.
Note:
Due to internet restrictions on color display and your monitor settings, the colors of the product photos may differ from the original you receive.
The stands, lighting accessories, and measuring accessories shown in the photos are not part of the offer!
